Best parents award!

So Jeffrey and I definitely win the best parents award, NOT. Notice the burns on his left cheek. Well, on his right cheek and lip he has more of those beautiful burns. Here's what happened..
I first need to go back a few months. I was in the garage using my miter saw and I accidentally blew a main fuse. Unfortunately I couldn't restart the box, so I have not had electricity in either of our bathrooms. And because of the no electricity I have been plugging in my flat iron and blow dryer to an extension cord. Okay, so one particular morning I decided to curl my hair instead of flat iron it. Everything was still plugged into the extension cord and Deisen came in to play, followed by Jeffrey. Deisen went straight for the flat iron and Jeffrey stopped him asking me "is it hot?" I said "no" because it wasn't suppose to be, I usually turn it off after I'm done with it. So although I knew it was still plugged into the cord, I figured it was turned off. Well we learned the hard way, well more like DK learned the hard way, that it wasn't turned off. How fun was it for us to let him loose and watched him pick up a very hot iron and put it to his mouth/face more than once. We're winners!

Governor Mickelson's ice-cream bars are Jeffrey's favorite! Crushed up Oreos on the bottom, layer of ice-cream, layer of a very good chocolate mix and sprinkled with Reeses Pieces. Extremely healthy :)

Deisen's new favorite toys are is stuffed animals. He loves to give them kisses, have me or Jeffrey give them kisses and takes them with him to the grocery store. It's actually really cute.

What in the world...

This is what I walked into when I opened Deisen's door yesterday morning. Was he really hot the night before? Is he working on his model poses? I suppose I'll never know.

New talent!

Deisen can now pull the basketball out of the basket, he is thrilled with this new talent :)

Memorial day

He was a little timid the first day, but since we've been back to the pool he has thoroughly enjoyed splashing and wanting to jump in!
