Spring Has Sprung!

Switched out my Christmas/winter wreath for some bright spring flowers.

Potty Training

Long story short...we tried potty training all day Saturday and Sunday. By Sunday night we abandoned ship...he was just not ready. Plan B = wait until he is at least 2 1/2. Good news = we got these cute pics :)

Mom & Dad, this is what I'm talking about :)

Helping mom plant flowers

Sci-Quest...it was alright, glad it was get in free day

An afternoon after church

I should have flip-flopped the first and second photo. Second photo = Deisen happy as a clam on his bike, first photo = Deisen being told it's time to change and take a nap.

Figured we should get at least one photo of the bump before this kiddo is born
We tried to get Deisen to kiss my belly, or something close to it...this was our best shot
All he wanted to do was play hoops

Book time with Rebecca and Deisen

As always, more hoop photos

Deisen turns 2

Another year gone by and our son continues to love basketball! So, yet again we had a basketball themed party with b-ball cupcakes. I'm interested to see how many years I can make the same b-ball cupcakes and re-use the same sports banner :)

Helping get the cupcakes ready for the big par-tay!

Skyping with Oma and Oma who he missed dearly on his special day
Giving them bye-bye kisses

Deisen received more trains, track, and college money from his Nonnie and Paw Paw. Thomas bath toys from his Oma and Opa, and a tricycle from us.

My friend Rachel came and brought her two daughters Rebecca and Emma. As you can see in the pics, Rebecca and Deisen had a lot of fun on his new bike!

Emma Olsen
Really how could words even describe how awesome this pic is

Sad to see his friends/family have to go, put his new toys away for the night and go to bed :(
P.S. Jeffrey's cousin Matt Calderwood took all of the great looking pics:) Thanks Matt!
